Practice ManagerAisling McCallion 

The Practice Manager is responsible for the management and administration of the practice and all non-clinical aspects of your health care.  If you have any queries, comments or suggestions about the service offered by the practice, she will be happy to discuss these with you.

 

Practice Nurse - Anne McNulty

Anne runs our chronic disease management clinics which includes Asthma, Respiratory, Diabetes, Hypertension and also takes care of women's and men's health issues.  Should you wish to attend or need any advice on any of the above services please contact reception.

 

Treatment Room Sister - Mary O'Kane 

The treatment room supports GPs by assisting in the delivery of individualised patient care.  This includes emergency care, blood tests, wound dressings and health promotion.

 

Health Care Assistant - Susan McCloskey

Assists the treatment room sister with assessment and delivery of patient care.

 

Phlebotomist - Dympna McFeely 

Dympna takes blood samples, blood pressures and tests urine samples.

The Reception/Administration Staff assists in the efficient day-to-day running of the practice and supports the service we provide.  When you telephone the surgery the Receptionists will ask you for a few details.  They have been trained to make these enquiries so that we can help you in the most appropriate way.  Strict confidentiality is maintained by all staff on any matter relating to the health of our patients.  Reception staff are here to help you, but their job is very demanding and they are often busy, so please be patient.

 

Health Visitors - Sharon Eakin & Michelle Mullan

The Health Visitors role is to assess, protect and promote the health and wellbeing of babies and children.  If you have any concerns regarding pre-school children contact the Health Visitor on 028 71 337 221.

 

District Nurses

The team currently consists of team leader: Louise Campbell, staff nurses: Laura McMurray, and Teresa Coll and nursing auxiliaries: Wendy McAllister and Jaqueline McGilligan.

 

The district nurses visit patients who are housebound and require the expertise of a qualified nurse.  They can be contacted 9.00am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm on 028 71 337 225.

 

Chiropodist

The Chiropodist holds a clinic twice weekly.  Referrals to this service are made through your GP.
