Repeat Prescriptions

If you have a condition that requires ongoing medicines, you may receive a repeat prescription.  This means that you can request further prescriptions without having to see the doctor every time.  You will still be asked to see the doctor periodically to make sure the medicines are appropriate.

 

 

How do I  order my prescription?

  • Online - If you have not already registered for this service, contact reception for more information.  Order your repeat prescriptions online here!
  • In Person - You can call into the Health Centre and order your items with one of the receptionists.  If you have pre-printed repeat prescription slip please make sure you have ticked clearly the items that you need.
  • Telephone - Contact reception Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

 

 

When will my prescription be ready?

 

Repeat Prescriptions - You should allow 48 hours between ordering your prescription and collecting from your nominated pharmacy.  (This may take longer depending on your chosen pharmacy)

When placing an order for repeat medications, please only order those items that you will need,

 

Acute Prescriptions - If this request is made before 11.00am, these prescriptions are usually available after 4.00pm that same day.  If the request is made after 11.00am the prescription may not be available until the following day.  (Depending on your nominated pharmacy these requests may take longer)
